How You Got Involved with Mountain View
My involvement began at the Southside Church of Christ in the early 1960s with the encouragement of Bro. Sheffield, from praying in service, communion ministry and teaching; which eventually led to more ministry work during our tenure with the Easterview/Overton Road now Mountain View congregation, that included but was not limited to personal bible study, preaching, counseling, bus ministry, homeless ministry, benevolence, jail ministry and performing marriages to this day until my recent illness.
